Say what you see. Beeky writes it up.
Hive inspection records for beekeepers, written from what you say at the hive. Here’s one Saturday visit with it.

You pull up at Orchard Apiary
Beeky works out which apiary you’re at, checks the weather and reminds you it’s been six days since you looked. Tap Select and the visit starts.

You talk while you work
Gloves on, phone in your pocket. Say what you see, the way you’d say it to a friend.
“There’s the queen, on frame four. Six frames of brood, nice and solid. Stores are light, so fondant on next week.”

It’s written up before you’ve washed your hands
“There’s the queen, on frame four. Six frames of brood, nice and solid. Stores are light, so fondant on next week.”

Hive 2 is a different story
“Three swarm cells on frame six, and they’re a bit tetchy today.”
Whatever you mention lands under the right heading, from the queen’s marking colour to how full your supers are. Anything urgent goes to the top.

On to Church Farm
Both apiaries sit on a satellite map, each with its own weather. Church Farm is 2.3 km away, and Beeky will know when you get there.

The fondant was on your list
Anything you said to do next became a task with a date. Add your own too, and tick them off at the hive.

Your records stay yours
- No signal at the apiary? It’s saved on your phone and written up when you’re back in signal.
- Stored in London, with Google, where only your account can reach them. The write-up, sign-in, weather and maps can run outside the UK, under UK safeguards: the privacy policy has the detail.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your data is never sold.
- Take them with you from Records, then Export.
- Delete your account and everything with it whenever you like, in the app or on this website.

Questions
- Is it free?
- Free during the beta. If that changes, beta testers hear first, and nothing you’ve recorded is taken away.
- Does it work on iPhone?
- Not yet. Beeky is Android only while it’s being tested.
- No signal at the hive?
- Record anyway. The recording is kept safe on your phone and written up when you’re back in signal.
- Where is my data kept?
- Your records, recordings and apiaries are stored in London. The write-up, sign-in, weather and maps are Google services that can run outside the UK, under UK safeguards. Backed-up recordings are deleted after 90 days; your records stay until you delete them.
- Can I get my records out?
- Yes. Export inspections, colonies and your medicine register as an Excel or CSV file, any time.
- Can I delete everything?
- Yes, at any time, from the app or the website. Your account and everything stored with it goes straight away.
